Boutique media and content agency Ivyclique recently announced the closure of its Seed Funding Round, led by a clutch of US-based angel investors.

Founded as a pure content firm in 2016 by Anjan Purandare (ex- Deutsche Bank, ICICI & RIL), the firm was one of the marquee sponsorships of B. Amsterdam, Europe’s largest start up co-working hub.

After successfully carrying out multiple creative mandates in Europe, the firm set up its India entity in mid 2020 and pivoted into being a full-service media and content agency. Having worked with over 100 B2B clients across Europe, US and Asia, the agency consciously avoided the funding route and has remained consistently profitable.

The latest funding round comes in the wake of a complete pivot in the agency’s forward-looking mandate with a very strong emphasis on cutting edge video-based solutions.

“The reliance on all formats of video-based content continues to see an upsurge and slowly but surely, organizations are beginning to understand the value of high-quality videos, as opposed to basic videos which can be counter-productive in today’s competitive landscape,” says Anjan. “We, as a firm strive to provide high quality solutions, not just across videos, but also across the other agency functions we regularly undertake, such as branding, web development, event management, content development, voice overs and translations,” he went on to add. “Going ahead our focus will be firmly on developing cutting edge in-house video solutions that can rival some of the best names in the business, globally. As a starting step, we have already begun hiring top talent and aligning ourselves with multiple studios in India as well as across US and Europe.”

Ivyclique currently has registered offices in the US, The Netherlands and India, with majority of the management team based out of India.
