The Spanish Roca Group Ventures has led a Series A funding round of $5 million (approximately INR 41 crore) in a blend of debt and equity infusion for the Gurugram-based watertech startup Boon (formerly Swajal).
Boon intends to utilise the new capital to enhance our technology and broaden our services globally, with a particular emphasis on the markets of North America and Southeast Asia. Additionally, this infusion will assist us in the creation of platforms for the administration of water purification.
Boon asserts that it has collaborated with hotel industry titans such as Shangri-La Group, JW Marriott, and Grand Hyatt.

Boon asserts that its IoT technology enables the real-time evaluation of the purity and quantity of drinking water.
At the present time, the cleantech sector in India is experiencing significant investor interest.
