Manoj Kohli, the former MD of Bharti Airtel and the former head of SoftBank India’s country division, and Bharat Anand, a partner at Khaitan & Co., have been appointed as independent directors to the board of B9 Beverages, the parent company of Bira 91.

With the appointment of these individuals, Bira 91 hopes to improve its corporate governance while growing the company’s operations in India and abroad by utilizing the appointees’ extensive experience in global business.
