Sharat Sinha has been appointed CEO of Airtel Business by telecom operator Bharti Airtel, effective June 3, 2024.
Sharat Sinha will join the Airtel management board and report to Gopal Vittal, CEO and MD of Bharti Airtel. He was the president of Asia Pacific at Checkpoint Software Technologies before joining Airtel Business.

Sinha is an experienced technology specialist who has held executive positions at Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and VMware. The statement stated that he has a solid background in telecom due to his early experiences at VSNL and Ericsson.
Gopal Vittal assure that Sinha’s extensive international background in product management and commercial leadership at numerous multinational technology businesses will greatly bolster Airtel’s aspirations to expand the company’s portfolio in connectivity and adjacencies at a rapid pace.
