AppViewX, an automation platform has raised $20 million in its Series B funding round from existing investor Brighton Park Capital.

AppViewX, an automation platform has raised $20 million in its Series B funding round from existing investor Brighton Park Capital.

The company plans to use the funds to maximize its go-to-market operations, product development and overall revenue growth strategies to help 2,000 global organizations reduce risk by securing and streamlining enterprise identities and applications.

The company also announced the opening of its 100-seater Global Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.

New York-based AppViewX was founded in 2008 by Anand Purusothaman, Its platform is a modular software application that enables automation and orchestration of network infrastructure using context-aware, visual workflows.

Through its automation platform, the startup mitigates risk and ensures compliance in the most demanding Fortune-ranked organizations in financial services, banking, healthcare, oil and gas, manufacturing and high-tech.

“Bengaluru has emerged as the largest innovation hotspot in India and home to some of the brightest tech talents in the region. As we scale globally, it was important for us to have a presence here in order to tap into this talent pool. We expect the Bengaluru centre to scale rapidly over the next couple of years as we continue to grow our global teams to further our mission towards cementing AppViewX as a frontrunner in the Machine Identity Management space”, said, Anand Purushothaman, Co-founder, AppViewX.

The startup is seeing a significant turnaround in revenue for its SaaS offerings. Despite industry-wide challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, it has nearly doubled its workforce since 2019, bolstering its customer success, engineering and go-to-market teams around the world.
