In its seed round, funded by Merak Ventures, Atomgrid, a platform for manufacturing and sourcing high-quality specialty chemicals, has secured Rs 10 crore, or about $1.2 million.
Dexter Ventures, Upsparks, Point One Capital, and the founders of UniCards, Nitin Gupta and Prateek Jindal, also participated in the round.

The company stated in a news release that the capital will be utilized to hire more people, develop a supply chain technology platform, broaden its worldwide presence, and enhance its internal R&D infrastructure.
Their goal is to use technology, creativity, and fundamental execution to bring down the specialty chemicals market globally.
