[Funding News] Ambulances Startup Red.Health Secures $20 Mn Led by Jungle Ventures

A smart medical response startup Red.Health, which also sends ambulances, has secured $20 million in Series B funding, which is a combination of debt and equity.

Jungle Ventures led the investment, with Alteria Capital, HealthQuad, and HealthX also participating, as reported by ET.

In order to reduce operator error and maximize reaction time, the Hyderabad-based business plans to use the additional funding to further develop its product, progress its technology, and enhance its dispatch system.

The business is also working on an advisory system driven by artificial intelligence that would offer action suggestions in case of medical emergency. The majority of the recently raised funds will be utilized for collaboration with more than 500 hospitals and extend Red.Health's services to 40–50 cities.
