Amazon Prime Video Join Hands with FanCode to Offer Sports Content

Amazon Prime Video has partnered with FanCode, an online marketplace, and live content providers to provide sporting content to its audience.

Amazon Prime Video has partnered with FanCode, an online marketplace, and live content providers to provide sporting content to its audience.

Fancode will provide access to national as well as global sporting events as part of its agreement. For sports enthusiasts in India, it will provide more than fifteen sports, such as basketball, rugby, football, kabaddi, cricket, and horse racing, as reported by Inc42.

Commenting on the development, Prime Video Channel’s head Vivek Srivastava said, “We are certain that the diversity in programming, and the convenience of enjoying all their favourite sports at a single destination, will delight sport lovers across the country. The addition of FanCode to Prime Video Channels also allows us to offer a comprehensive bouquet of entertainment, from international and local language content to kids-focussed and now live sports.”

Among the sports available to customers on the platform are the Yuva Kabaddi, AFC Champions League, AFC Cup, FIFA U17 World Cup, Carabao Cup, and Women’s Big Bash League.

In response to the partnership, FanCode cofounder Colaco stated that the affiliation with Prime Video is a step towards the platform’s goal of reaching all sports fans in the nation.
