Akriti Chopra, the Chief People Officer and co-founder of Zomato, has submitted her resignation, effective immediately.

This concludes her 13-year tenure at the 16-year-old organization. The formal notification to the stock exchange was issued by the company on September 27.

"The past 13 years have been an incredibly enriching experience." I am grateful for all that you have done. I am available at all times. The excerpt of her email in the filing stated, "Wishing you and Eternal the best of luck."

In 2011, Akriti Chopra became a Senior Manager of Finance and Operations at Zomato. She subsequently assumed significant leadership positions, such as Chief Financial Officer and Head of People Development. She was promoted to the role of co-founder in 2021.
