Navikenz, a consulting-led AI services startup, has raised $4 million in Seed funding round from Sudip Nandy, ex-CEO Aricent and Sekar PRC ex-CEO Hexaware.

The startup will use the funds to expand its footprint in India and the United States.

New Jersey-based Navikenz was founded in 2020 by Anjan Lahiri and Samit Deb, It is helping enterprises find and implement AI-enabled solutions to improve business processes and replace ‘human effort with human intuition’.

“No company needs another line of code – they need higher revenues and lower costs. Technology enables them to do that. People do not need employment, they need employability and a purpose – a reason to come to work every day. The company said that With a management team that can easily handle a business of more than $1 billion, the company will continue to grow organic and inorganic and inorganic, organic and inorganic to achieve the scale needed to meet the needs of its Fortune 500 target customers.

The company is looking to hire more talent from India in its AI Architecture and Business Consulting segment and in the next five years, it aims to become a significant player in the IT services space.

According to McKinsey survey that AI adoption is on the rise: 56 percent of all respondents reported AI adoption in at least one function, up from 50 percent in 2020. The latest results show that companies headquartered in emerging economies have seen the biggest increase in AI adoption since last year, including China, the Middle East and North Africa, and that of all regions, Indian companies have the highest adoption rates.
