The farmer-producer cooperation Kisankonnect, backed by Shilpa Shetty, secured Rs 31 crore in the pre-series A round.
Leading the round was Green Frontier Capital (GFC), with support from HNIs VC Grid, crop protection startup Dhanuka Agritech, and many family offices.

By implementing best-in-class supply chain models with sustainable practices, Kisankonnect hopes to make a difference in delivering fresh food straight from the farm to the customer’s door.
In May of last year, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty backed the business during its angel round.

Through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) app and farm stores, Kisankonnect is currently delivering to more than one lakh clients in the cities of Mumbai and Pune. Via its ‘Village Staples’ and ‘Mom’s Kitchen’ segments, it also manufactures and sells curated agri-products as well as snacks that are created by hand.
