Adani Group to Invest $9 Bn to Kickstart Its Green HydrogenProject In Gujarat

The Adani Group, headquartered in Ahmedabad, intends to generate 7,500 to 10,000 employment opportunities by investing $9 billion in constructing infrastructure for its green hydrogen project in Kutch, Gujarat.

Adani Group aims to produce a yearly output of one million tonnes of green hydrogen energy, which will be transported to Europe and Asia using specialized vessels.

The production of electrolyzers utilizing anion exchange membrane technology necessitates a workforce.

The project, encompassing an area of 538 square kilometers, has commenced operations for a capacity of 2 gigawatts within one year of its inception.

Chairman Gautam Adani has expressed unwavering dedication to energy transition initiatives. Their plan involves investing more than $100 billion (equivalent to around Rs 835 crore) in the production of various components for generating green energy. The mentioned entities encompass solar parks, wind farms, electrolyzers, wind turbines, and solar panels.
