Acko Buys Chronic Care Management Company OneCare

Acko, an insurtech unicorn, has acquired OneCare, a digital startup specializing in chronic care management, in order to establish a full healthcare ecosystem.

The sale was conducted entirely in cash, however, the corporation did not reveal the specific financial terms of the acquisition.

Rakesh Shivran and Sagar Bhat, the cofounders of OneCare, will be joining the leadership team of Acko.

OneCare asserts that they have created an omnichannel care paradigm that integrates wearables, data analysis, physical clinics, and virtual care teams.

Acko provides insurance coverage for automobiles, medical expenses, and travel-related incidents. The organization asserts that it has provided insurance coverage to over 78 million distinct consumers and has issued in excess of 1 billion policies thus far. Recently, the company expanded its operations into the car repair and servicing industry with the introduction of the 'Acko Drive servicing Centre'.
