DOMS Acquires a 51.77% Stake in Uniclan Healthcare

DOMS Industries Limited, a brand that specializes in stationery and art materials, has acquired a 51.77% equity stake in Uniclan Healthcare Private Limited, a brand that specializes in infant diapers, wipes, and other baby hygiene products.

This acquisition has resulted in Uniclan becoming a subsidiary of DOMS. DOMS acquired 71,16,080 equity shares for a total consideration of Rs 54.88 crore as part of the agreement, with Rs 28.88 crore serving as a primary infusion.

Uniclan has confirmed that this sum will be allocated to the repayment of debt, the expansion of its capacity, and the financing of its working capital needs. The acquisition enables DOMS to diversify its portfolio and broaden its product line as part of its development strategy to better serve a broader market.

Uniclan’s trademark brand, “Wowper,” is the primary product of its manufacturing facility in Jaipur, Rajasthan, which has an installed capacity of approximately 400 million pull-up pant-style baby diapers annually.
