Venture Catalysts, an integrated incubator and accelerator platform in India, spearheaded the investment in a seed capital round for NxtQube, a startup specializing in drone infrastructure.
Pontaq VC (STPI NxtVentures), Ananta Bizcon LLP, Rushikesh Bhandari, and other angel investors also took part in the round, which is a critical milestone in NxtQube’s efforts to transform drone operations.
NxtQube asserts its position as a leader in the development of automation solutions that complement the operations of drone manufacturers, service providers, and end users. The company also asserted that its primary product, a universal drone docking station, will revolutionize the drone industry by addressing the requirement for on-site pilots in surveillance, monitoring, and logistics drone activities.
The universal drone docking station developed by NxtQube is an automated structure that can carry out many tasks related to drone operations, such as facilitating drone landing and take-off, monitoring flight activities, charging drones, and extracting data. According to the company’s press release, the modular nature of this solution enables it to be easily integrated with drones from different manufacturers and across multiple categories, making it a versatile option for the sector.

NxtQube employs a business model that integrates capital expenditure for the docking stations with subscription and perpetual license alternatives for the software. The company’s objective is to serve the 2 million drones in the defense and enterprise sectors in Asia Pacific, Europe, and the US markets. Their concentration is on applications that require autonomous intervention.
