Anshu Sarin has been chosen by coworking company 91Springboard as its new CEO. Anand Vemuri, a cofounder who was serving as CEO, will now serve as executive chairman and assist in forming beneficial partnerships for the company’s growth.
Prior to this, Sarin led Berggruen Hotels as CEO. She was vital to this deliberate sale. The firm intends to raise further capital in light of an increasing need for regulated and versatile office spaces in order to support its growth and expand its portfolio, as reported by Inc42.com
“Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, our team’s dedication and innovation have positioned us for extraordinary growth. As we stand at the threshold of an exciting new phase, I am honoured to transition to the role of Chairman and entrust the future of the organisation to Anshu Sarin, our new CEO,” Vemuri said.
He believes that Sarin’s experience will drive 91Springboard towards growth. “Together, we are determined to take 91Springboard to even greater heights and continue making a lasting impact in the coworking ecosystem,” he added.
In India, 91Springboard was the first coworking space to open. Established in 2012, the goal was to create an environment that prioritised people over places. The firm was committed to building communities and providing its members with the means to thrive. From a single little location in New Delhi, it has grown to an impressive 26 hubs distributed across eight cities, able to serve 16,000 members.
